Welcome to Viewpark Care Home

As part of Abercorn Care Limited, my staff and I hope this site gives you and your relatives some useful information about life in Viewpark Care Home. It has been designed to give as much detail as possible. Our aim is to offer all our residents continued happiness and comfort. We think this can be best achieved if you view the Care Home as your own home and not just a place to be looked after and that both you and your relatives take an active part in the planning and decision that affect your individual needs. We hopefully will all grow older gracefully and in the best of health. However, if we do enter into care it is of paramount importance to retain one’s dignity and as much independence as is possible subject to an individual’s health and mobility. This, above all, is the key to the happiness that we try to engender within Viewpark Care Home and it is our aim to be able to serve you and your relatives’ best interests throughout your time with us.

Our Reviews

I am so pleased my Mum is in Viewpark Care Home. The standard of care is excellent and the home is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and keep me up to date with any changes. The nurses are skilled at Palliative Care and identifying medical issues. The home feels homely and has a very strong community feel. The activities are varied and happen three times a day. They have identified Mum’s individual interests and ensure these are catered for. Viewpark in my opinion is an excellent example of how care should be provided for the elderly in our society. They maintain exceedingly high standards of nursing care.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Viewpark for your great kindness, true professionalism and sensitive care towards my Mother over many years. I breathed a sigh of relief when she first went to Viewpark more than 9 years ago and it became her home and also the happiest time in her life. She never stopped singing your praises and appreciated all that you did for her.

Thank you.

Please pass on our thanks to all members of staff who helped make Mum’s 90th birthday such a memorable day. I have never seen her so happy and I know that she appreciates all the care and attention she enjoys at Viewpark.

It was an enormous load of my mind when she settled into Viewpark and her care has always been of the highest standard. I am very grateful.

– A thank you letter from the Resident’s family

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for all the work done by the staff today to make Jean’s birthday a special occasion. While she may not remember the event tomorrow she was certainly very moved today and had a great time and was made to feel very special.

Please pass on my thanks to Brian for the wonderful birthday cake and to everyone for the decoration of the conservatory.

Her visitors were very impressed by the ambiance of Jean’s new home: the lovely surroundings, the attentive nature of all the staff and the friendly interactions with other residents.
